Week One of Fauvist Landscape

So I loosely transferring my image onto the wooden panel with a pencil sketch and then went over it in a light wash of yellow ochre. Then I color blocked some of the larger areas and waited until the

next class to go into more detail and add more specific shape and color. You can see that I worked on the cottage more and on the greenery in front. I'm trying to keep things loose and to add more color like the fauvists did. I also am going to use atmospheric perspective on the roof and tree behind the house and improve upon that.
