Initially I was nervous about doing the tie-dye because it had so many different colors and values and the shirt is really creased. But I decided to shade the folds first so and then fill in the tie dye to make it look more realistic. I also went over the pants with a dark wash to make the fold look more cohesive and less choppy.

I then used my brush to stamp on the tie dye and I think it turned out pretty good. It's not the most accurate but I think people will be able to tell what it is which is important. I also sketched out the face and I had some trouble with the lips because in my reference I have a closed mouth smile which is surprisingly hard to draw.
