Home Project Process Post

So for my home project I'm doing a large mixed media portrait but my main medium will be gouache. I took reference photos of my friend in a pretty dress/ outfit outfit combo that I made up and then I did a watercolor underpainting. After, I sectioned the picture into the right dimensions using a website, printed them out, rubbed graphite on the back of them and glued them down. It appears that there is a slice cut out between her sleeve and the sleeve behind it, as you should be able to see a portion of her back. However I will have to improvise that area. For the face, I think I'm going to change her features as I do not want this to be a portrait of Muriel but rather a random girl. I will use Muriel's face as a reference though and then use my imagination from there.
