Finishing Touches on Contemporary Sculpture

On Wednesday me and Coach Hall had a meeting on how I could better fit the prompt with my project and we came up with many ideas on how to do that. After we talked I decided on an idea as such: I'm gonna put all of the old turtle carapaces around the window structure and place more structures on top of them like mini buildings/towers. Then I'm gonna put a sign on the ground next to them that says like "Fallen Kingdom" or something like that and it's gonna be this whole thing on how humans have built their civilization on the backs of the animals and natural world around them, only to nature's detriment and I'm gonna have the actual live turtles around the display so it's also a contrast between life and death. And I'm debating on whether or not to put a sign at the top of the window structure that says something like "The height of civilization" because it's so ironic and there would be a lot of juxtaposition that would only further drive the point home. It's really dramatic but I kind of love it. I already collected the carapaces and the small structures should be easy enough to make. However, I can't work on any this weekend because we left Thursday night to go to our beach house and won't be back until Monday night. Then I just have to photograph everything.
